Many state that Virginia tobaccos are for the summer and English for the winter. Personally I prefer VA year round :) All of these blends are low to no bite when at the proper moisture level and properly packed, enjoy.
Given that, my suggestions are:

Samuel Gawith Full Virginia Flake

SG Golden Glow (aka Medium Virginia Flake)

Orlik Golden Sliced

Hearth and Home Anniversary Kake

Peter Stokkebye's Luxery Bullseye Flake
Most of these blends do require significant drying time and rubbing out before smoking, I would recomend to do these steps in advance so that you don't have to deal with it when you want your smoke in the hot summer heat. They also pair together really well with a light beer or ice tea.
And if your an English guy and want that big bold flavor... I always recomend Penzance :) It is the only English I still smoke besides Frog Morton (regular). Oh yeah I also recomend Frog Morton, was a favorite summertime English smoke for me, very sweet and bold, with a healthy amount of vitamin N.

My first choice would be Old Joe Krantz from C&D. Not only is it my favorite "all day" blend, but it also has the bonus characteristic of performing very well in the summer heat because the smoke has a body similar to that of a cigar without tasting at all like a stogie. It's basically a burley-perique blend with just red VA to bring it sweetness and balance. It's also a very flexible smoke -- if you like latakia but normally can't smoke heavy English blends in the summer, then simply add a little to OJK until you have an American-English that's right for you.

On reflection, I'd add a few other good "hot weather" blends:
Pennington Gap from C&D. This is a very cool-smoking blend that actually tastes better when the heat is on. It's cubed cut burley, cavendish and perique with some bourbon. It sounds like your typical aromatic, but it most assuredly isn't.
Carter Hall -- a classic OTC burley that does well in the summer.
Ennderdale Flake or Kendal Flake from G&H -- Both of these blends have flavor profiles that seem to naturally go with warm weather. Also, they don't bite even when smoked hot.

Thanks Roth, was wondering the same thing thinking I was missing something. Why would the outside temp make any difference to the tobacco you're smoking? Heading into my first summer as a pipe smoker, so this is an interesting thread to me.

I smoke Englishes 90% of the time no matter the season, but I've recently started looking into VaPers and can say that GLP Fillmore is a nice smoke on a hot afternoon.

Well here in Northern Indiana I can definitely say when it's in the 90's and humid as all get out I prefer the "cleaner", lighter tastes of VaPers. Nothing like sweating your ass off at midnight with a beer and a pipe in the middle of summer.
It gets hot here but nowhere near as hot as my birth state of Nebraska. I can't even imagine what it's for you southern puffers.
I've also found I need to keep a cleaner on hand for moisture removal on those humid days, no matter how slow I sip.
