I have tried GH Chocolate flake, and it’s cousin Bobs Chocolate Flake.

The former, was nary a trace of cocoa, and the latter….a very subtle grace of dark cocoa, intermittently. I would categorize them both as a Virginia flake with condimental Latakia.

Is there a chocolate flake I’m missing or haven’t tried? I’m not looking for a Hershey bar, but just one with a more noticeable cocoa taste.

English chocolate is my favorite though it’s a very broken flake. It does not have the burley the GH/SG blends have, nor the Lakeland. It also does not have the perique or the Lakeland that Stonehenge flake has.

If you want just a Virginia/Latakia broken flake with a cocoa topping, give it a go.

Such a YMMV topic, McConnell Red Virginia tastes super chocolaty to me even though it's just a light topping, almost too chocolate it really turned me off from the blend, so there is one that isn't even a flake, assuming you meant flakes because they would have more of the chocolate note.

Just read the reviews, sounds good! Have you jarred it and let it cellar or do you find it best out of the tin?

No mention of Sutliff Mocha Strips?! Some say the topping is more berry like than Mocha, but this tobacco comes in VERY LONG flake strips. It was the first flake I tried and it is pretty good and is sold in bulk.
