If you want to see larger pictures, perhaps if you're interested in details of stampings and hallmarks I have a public album that anyone can see on Facebook. You don't have to be a Facebook member to see them.

Here are the smaller sized photos from my shopping spree at the Chicago Pipe Show -

Black Dot Oxford
It kind of looks like a Dunhill Shell, and it has a black dot, but the only stamping is a highly stylized "Oxford".
The reason I got this one and the next one is because I needed a couple of very small bowls for short smokes.

Outstanding collection of pipes, Kevin. I especially love the Comoy Blue Riband and the Celebration bent bulldog. Just beautiful specimens of how great pipes look. Can't wait to hear how they smoke!

Thanks for the pics. Nice haul. I'm especially taken with the Blue Riband. Very nice grain. Likewise, the Hilson prince is a real looker. Happy smoking.

The Hilsons are old, but were brand new, found in the factory. I forget the story as it was on Sunday when I was in real bad shape. I emailed the guy to ask him to refresh my memory. They both had beautiful naked bowl interiors, looking just like the unsmoked Kaywoodie - but I smoked both of them right away, while still at the show. I smoked Romeowood's 50 year old Escudo in them for break-in.
So now they will both be dedicated to straight Virginias and VA/Per.
I've finally turned into a collector with some focus. I love vintage Dunhills, Comoy's and Kaywoodies - and classic shapes in general, like the gorgeous Hilson Prince.
Thanks for the comments and compliments guys.

Regarding the Smoking Jacket -
1. They are going to sign on as an advertiser. Made in USA in Chicago.
2. Where I live in Downtown St. Pete, there are 4 hip nightclubs on all 4 corners of my block. They are modern, but retro at the same time - they have Go-Go Dancers dancing on pedestals just like in the 60s-70s - and the smoking jacket will fit right in at any of those places.

What an elegant selection. It will be difficult to decide which to smoke next, for a while. This looks like an exhibit of the

grand tradition in pipe shapes. Any one would be a prize, but that bulldog just glows.

They are all very nice looking pipes.

I especially like the Blue Riband, the Canadian and the Apple.
The jacket looks good on you. Don't you have a Dunhill Dress? One with a silver band would be a great match with the jacket.
Happy smoking!

Congratulations on your purchases,
I would rock that smoking jacket at cookouts and bonfires.

Congrats Kevin! Those are some killer buys. I love the Comoy's Bent Bulldog. A bulldog of that shape with the slight bend is perfect to my taste. Great vintage Dunhills. The Canadian and the Panel are my favorites. Have to admit the Kaywoodie Apple is quite a stunning pipe too. Thanks for sharing your prizes.

@john218 - Yes, I have 2 Dunhill Dress Pipes that I acquired in May 2010 from Aaraon Spelling's estate. I smoked one of them yesterday.
@cigrmaster - Your daughter is going to be sporting a pink smoking jacket, and then a match for mine when we do her new Pipe Babe photoshoot in downtown St. Pete tomorrow afternoon. I tried to convince them to let her keep one, but they declined as they are $399 retail.

Great photos Kevin, thanks for sharing with us. And the Comoy Celebration is a very collectible piece as you know, glad you like it.

You found a fine selection of Classic Pipes at the show, enjoy them in good health. It was fun seeing you in Chicago, and we sure did have some laughs on Saturday night!!
