We have the first of two articles that we will be publishing about the "Chicago Pipe Show". This article, by Chris Bacon, is not so much of a report on the show, but more of an analysis and commentary on how pipe shows and the pipe community have evolved, based on his experiences and observations at The Chicagoland Int'l Pipe & Tobacciana Show this past week.

A great read. Love to be in the loop as far as all the shows go. Glad to hear it's becoming less of a smoking flea market.

Great article! I totally agree with Chris's take on the smoking tent. I found it to be a great communal area to meet and people watch!

Are any of you planning to attend the Kansas City show?

I still regret not being able to make it to the Chicago show because all I hear are great comments!
