hi all .... having a hard time finding any cherry cavendish in ireland. i seen online that england has some for sale but was wondering if i were to order from england does would i still have to pay a duty on it? even tho it is within the euro zone. my buddy tried to send me some tobacco from the states but said he got stopped at the post office, some new home land security procedure they checked his package.

Gauntleys will ship to Ireland, if you live in Dublin Petersons sell Sam Gawaith black cherry from what they have told me in the past. Whatever you do do not get Mcclintock black cherry, it is one vile tobacco.

There shouldn't be any duty to pay in Ireland if you order from another EU country. As long as your order is for personal use, you should be fine. The only issue may be if you order a huge amount that customs suspects you are going to sell it on.

thanks for the reply... i checked petersons online and didnt see any cherry tobbacos myabe ill drop them an email....and as for duty comming in from the usa, its outrageous, i was looking at a 16 oz bag for 12 bucks buy the time i go tto the checkout part the total came 584 dollars.....i cant believe what the governments do on tobbaco...i brew my own beer im thinkn about growing my own tobacco lol
