Hi,

I recently made this pipe and wanted to share it here.

The entire thing is all one piece.

I hand carved the lion head and other details in place with micro chisels.

Hope you enjoy!

Nice first try, I would make the bowl nice and large and make the stem longer, come to a finer tip, that would look more professional and probabley sell a lot better. As for the lion design, I love the facial expression of the lion, it is priceless.

Cool pipe. A lion with no teeth? lol
I'm just pulling your leg, I know that requires a hell of a lot more work.
His dentures are soaking atm.
How does he/she smoke?

I plan on making the bowl bigger on my next one. The stem is tricky with this material though. It is very difficult to make it longer and thinner without making it breakable.

It's a good suggestion though. I plan on figuring out a new stem design.
It smokes quite well actually. The stem is long enough to allow the smoke to become mellow and slightly cool. The stem size is a little awkward when gripped between your teeth so I prefer holding it instead. It stays lit very well and is all around a very satisfactory smoking machine...
