Change of Taste?

I have a pouch of Amphora Red, Full Aroma, here in front of me now. I used to like this but find now that it is rather bland compared to many of the blends in my stash. Hmmmmm, tastes change? Or is it just that since joining this Forum, and being introduced to Internet Shopping, better blends have come my way?

I'd say it's the latter of the two fisher... It's like pizza. I had a favorit pie my whole like. Then i went to New York ity for a week in '91 and Tried 10-15 different kinds of pizza. Suddenly my ole hometown fave wasn't all that special. What do you think???

Cool bird by the way... I moved to West Palm Beach back in jan '11 and i used to see them all over the place. Several had escaped a pet shop that was robbed in like '00 and they started to populate the area. Same thing has happend with exotic and venomous snakes down their except people are buying them and getting tired of the so the let them go. Alsy they were escaping their tanks. There were fiant iguanas in the parks don there too/ It was funny because they were falling out of trees when it frosted over for a few days and injuring people. Funny stuff.. Anyway.. Great Bird!!

Combination of the two. Tastes definitely change but being exposed to new and very good tobaccos allows that change. I'll always like a good steak and baked potato but Vietnamese pho kicks butt too!

Indeed. I also liked MacBarrens Mixture, Scottish Blend, I still do, but am finding it falling into the same category as the Amphora.

Mine definitely has. I started out with mostly aros and a couple of English with no VA or VaPer at all. Now it's all VA, VaPer and Balkans with only a couple aros. I just feel like I'm hitting my stride taste wise and settling into those things I really like rather than experimenting.
