I've wanted one of these for a bit and lucky for me, one popped up for a nice price and I jumped as quickly as I could. It's rusticated, and I have read it may be Briar but I'm not sure. The smooth were Maplewood. They date from the 1940s, I believe.
Wally Frank also stamped them, but were probably made by Weber also. The rusticated version is from my research a bit tougher to nab than the smooth.
Any of you have these? If so I'd love to see and hear your thoughts.
