I've been searching for a smooth Castello Shape 54 that was in my budget AND in my size preference. In the past two years, I sold two Sea Rocks that smoked wonderfully but were just too large. I was looking for a pipe under 50 grams. I found this Trademark KK bulldog at TheBriarPipe.com and it weighs in right in my sweet spot at 48 grams.

Service from Joel was terrific with strong communication throughout the transaction. The pipe was on sale, which made it even more appealing.
The pipe arrived today and I broke it with a bowl of MM965. A Castello gives my favorite blend a little twist and it is different experience from the rest of the British-made pipes in my cabinet.

Wow!

Looks amazing and, knowing Castello, delivers a great smoke.

BUT

What is that spot almost at 12 o'clock right above the relief line in pic #3 ? Filth or fill 8O

Neat pipe! I'm a classical guy and a lot of Castello's shapes are just a little too fashion-forward for me. But their slightly Italian-inspired versions of the classics - like your bulldog - are fantastic. Someday I'll find one I like at just the right time and add a Castello to my collection.

All good things come to those who wait, as my mother would say. Certainly true in your case, Al.
Stunning pipe - I hope it brings you a lifetime of pleasure.
