Congratulations! Considering the amount of entries, you really have to do something right to win!
Congrats Dale. Greg and I laughed our asses off.
I don't know if you guys saw when I described how we pick the winners in a previous post.
All of the entries get saved in a folder. Any really bad ones get junked by me personally.
Then I call Greg Pease on the phone and read them to him one by one. If I hear silence on the other end of the phone, it gets deleted. If I get a laugh, then they make the second cut.
The captions that get the biggest laughs go to the top. Then we just pick the entries we think are best. If we get stuck, then I call in the cartoonist, Jerry King.

Hey Kevin, Just an idea: After a couple years have gone by and PM has a bunch of these cartoons built up a collection published in the form of a coffee table book or some similar format would be hilarious. I would definately buy something like that. It would make a good gift for the pipesmoker and I'd imagine it would be a big seller at pipe shows.
