I love Mystic, but have been itching to crack a different tin from the Capn.:
Nightwatch, Ten Russians, Diamondback, Honor? Still looking for Stimulus and private.
Any Thoughts?

Honor Blend is in my top 3 blends. It has a wonderfully chocolatey tin note. If you have a tin of that, give it a try.

Hmmmm . . . Ten Russians sounds interesting.
I like stronger blends. Would anyone who has tried it compare it’s nic strength to other common blends please ?

Thanks ! 5 Brothers is a regular smoke for me. That gives me a good sense of the relative strength.

It sounds very interesting as I love stronger blends too. Might have to give it a go some time.

It's not Five Brothers high

Five Brothers was my last resort for a nic hit. I think I'm immune. Tasted good, but no noticeable effect. :crying:

I have only tried honor, but love it! It’s a great smoke for sure

I've got some Private Stock. I've enjoyed it. It's a very smooth blend with depth of flavors and has quite a few different tobaccos in it. I think I see a little bulge in the unopened tins. They've got 3 yrs plus on them.

It has Latakia, but it's not overwhelming.

Whoops sorry, Yes, Ten Russians is incredible!!! For some reason Mystic seems to be my late night going to bed pipe. Usually in a Nording cause its so damn big! lol. But Ten Russians is very very good!

Been such a big fan of Nightwatch for years, so good.

The only one I've tried is Ten Russians, and I didn't really care for it. Too much Latakia, I think, and I find it kind of dull after a few puffs. That experience has kind of kept me off the others, but I think Honor Blend doesn't have ANY Latakia, so I might try that or one of the others that contain a more balanced measure of Latakia.

Love me some Mystic! Next on my Captain Earle’s hit list is Reflections. Seems often overlooked. Ten Russians sounds a bit lat-heavy.
