Captain Earle's Mystic Blend and Penzance

I've only ever heard good things about Penzance, but with it's availability I probably won't be able to try it any time soon. I did a few google searches and found a few sources that say the Mystic Blend is similar. Can anyone attest to this?

It's in the same town, maybe not the same ballpark. I think that Hearth & Home 10 to Midnight is a bit closer.

Or maybe Captain Earle's 10 Russians. Haven't smoked Mystic.

I've enjoyed both Penzance and 10 to Midnight. Both are fine smokes. Similar....maybe. Its about like comparing a Macintosh and and a Washington delicious apple. Both are good apples, but not the same.

I Found Plum Pudding to be similar to Penzance, IMHO. Both are absolutely delicious.

i cant compare, i been tryin to git penzance for 3 weeks now an always the same out of stock finish hahah

sounds like its great tho. Maybe ill try that plum puddin and git a feel for it

Mystic is delicious, but more Oriental forward and lighter than Penzance.
