Can't Get Much Better Than This . . .

Got off work early, and had several wonderful surprised waiting for me at home.
On a cold, rainy day I walked into a house that smelled like macadamia nut brownies, pot roast, and a clean dog. Then I saw the package from 4noggins and which had my McClelland Holiday Spirit tobacco and Falcon pipe cleaners.
There was also another package that had the Irish Second pipe that I won 4 days ago. When I opened it, all I could do was smile. Very little clean up and I have a great pipe to add to my collection. I'll do before and after pictures soon.
Top it off with a weekend with my daughter and granddaughters, and I'd say I was a very lucky man.

Congrats Plateau! I know the feeling. Sometimes we are like little kids opening presents on Christmas morning when that package arrives.

I thought you had come up on a busload of naked Cheerleaders on their way to a Pipe Convention and offered you the entire contents of the trailer full of baccy they were towing if you would rub them down with oil.

Congratulations on your new pipes and it is special that you can share the experience with your family. Enjoy the brownies as well. The thought of those makes me hungry for them. Perhaps might make some tomorrow as it is supposed to rain lots here in FL where I live.

Thanks for all the shared happiness. When I was younger I didn't really appreciate the simple things, just took them for granted. Now, I'm a lot wiser and find life more enjoyable.
PS - (My wife wouldn't like the cheerleaders.)
