Working on jarring up the backlog of bulk and opened tins today. Kudos to Walmart for free next day shipping from the store on 1/4 pint jars, at the lowest price anywhere I could find.

Now the quandry: do I jar that second pound of 1792, or seal the boxes up in Mylar and sell it back to you chumps in ten years at an exorbitant markup?

Love the old school label maker!

I started to jar up some 250 and 500g boxes and decided the it's easier to mylar and heat seal them and just toss them in big plastic totes than jarring them all up and then storing the jars, not to mention paying for all the jars.

My experience with Cellaring in Mylar bags has been good so far, provided they arr high quality, thick bags. I store my unimaginably massive quantities of Esoterica bags in Mylar. But I prefer to have cellared blends in small jars. That way, I only open a tin’s worth at a time, keeping the rest sealed and decaying anaerobically. The zip seals on Mylar backs are the weak link, especially once tobacco bits get in them.

And that lable maker isn’t very old. It’s a Brother P-Touch. I think they still sell them.

Aye me matey, sure be that the mylar should be heat sealed. The only tins I've actually mylared are some of the SG tins that of late haven't been great, but then they never were and yes yes not made to be stored made to be smoked, etc, and so forth. i was only thinking the large boxes.

Also nice esoteric flex
