I read recently that cable companies have a different strategy. They get their customers to bundle cable, long distance, internet, etc, etc all with their company. Then if the customer gets mad it is a huge effort to change everything, including e-mail address. Most customers just yell / scream, then passively continue to write the monthly check.
I was just about to write a whole list of 'cable' stories, from missed appointments to outright lying to me...
But, what's the use? I changed to Verizon where I could, and just hope that cable won't fail where I have it.
