I can only infer from this that the last vestiges of Sutliff bulk are not flying off the shelves as fast as one might have expected.

BSOSM has been out of stock since late last year. But not on TinBids! 
I am wondering if this is a way to get folks to switch to C&D blends. You order a Sutliff blend and a similar sample of C&D is included.
Interesting hypothesis. Never would have occurred to me, but it makes considerable sense. Perhaps a way to ease an otherwise jarring transition.
I made an order for a couple of bulk Sutliff blends and it did not show any C&D sample with my order, but it also says while supplies last so we shall see what is delivered.
Yeah it was the same for me. It gave me the option to opt out but no option to choose samples. So either they choose what they send you or they're out of samples. I'm not terribly worried about it either way. It just would have been free tobacco.
I am glad Sutliff produced all they did, up until closing. It will give folks a better chance to stock up on some good stuff.
I'm curious what exactly they have in stock on stuff. SP is usually very accurate in displaying availability on bulks and breaks down by ounce when you might add just that smidgen over their available quantity.
Today, I played with 507C in my cart and was able to take it up to 999lbs in my cart without any push back. Was unable to do this with Z88 and was pushed back to 73lbs.
Maybe they were able to stock up on staples like the 507C in better quantity than we all anticipated
That aside, it feels a little like a Laudisi move to just offer some C&D alternatives to the dwindling Sutliff offerings. Only thing that would have been more along this line is if they had specific samples offered side by side with their comparable blend.

Perhaps they figure (and correctly at that) there's no need for push back at that amount, as our wives would take care of that part for them. In spades!
Definitely would provide an easy on-ramp to switching for those that are looking for something once ALL Sutliff blends vanish on the primary market.
