C&D Recall

I'm wondering if anyone has heard an update on the C&D recall of the Carolina Flake Small Batch. I sent mine in, and they confirmed they had received it and were processing it all. I'm sure it takes quite a bit of time for that all to get processed given the number of tins that were inevitably returned. I'm just wondering if anyone has any info on that.

I was finally able to get mine sent yesterday (by having my mother go in and tell UPS it was make-up - apparently the UPS store refuses to ship tobacco?).
Expecting a tin of Old Joe Krantz in return. We shall see how long it takes. I'm not in a massive hurry.

Wow! I just put it in a ziploc bag, put it in an envelope, and slapped the shipping label on it. (I kept the actual tin) They never asked what it was, and I never told them.

I shipped some tobacco UPS recently. I was dumbfounded when they asked what I was mailing. I responded that it wasn't important and they insisted so I lied on general principle. Now, I'm super glad that I did.

I called this afternoon and was told they are still processing orders, and are doing so in the order they got the returns.

I sent my 5 tins in UPS and they did not ask me anything. I asked for a cash refund including credit for the PA 6% sales tax and I have already received the check and cashed it. Maybe getting replacement tobacco takes longer.

I'm thinking UPS franchise stores may have different rules than UPS proper.

I got my notice for SP that my return had been processed and the purchase deducted from my CC account. I made it as easy as possible. Sent the tins back in the same box in which they were sent, with a copy of the invoice on top.

Nononono, they offered a refund or to swap the Carolina Red for tins of your choosing.

The whole batch has been infected with mould, thus the recall. I would recommend returning them to avoid wasting money.

... and change the profile of the tobacco. At that point, it's not "it" any more and what becomes the point of keeping it?
