C&D Kajun Kake, Anybody Had It?

I got a tin of it a few days ago and have yet to smoke any. I was planning on smoking some this weekend and was wondering what to expect. I did pop the tin, I found the tin note to be a little off-putting for some reason. I swear I smelled fish! I've really wanted to try this one, I'd like to think it doesn't taste like crawdads! Let me know what y'all think about it!

I have never smoked it before but I picked up a tin recently. I have yet to open it tho, so I am of no help. I am interested in hearing some opinions too.

Kajun Kake: We start with naturally sweet red Virginias and add just the right touch of everyone's favorite Cajun spice, Louisiana Perique. I actually didn't care for it at all. It tasted dusty and ashy to me. No matter how slow I sipped...something in it just doesn't agree with me.
I tossed it in a jar to see if anything magical happens but honestly I'm expecting to open it in a year and throw it away. Honestly it was one of those blends that tasted so bad I thought maybe I got a bad tin.
I was disappointed, but it SOUNDS great.
