A couple months ago I contacted the MasterBlaster about a commission. We went back and forth for a few emails..really I just wanted to get some info. Fast forward a few weeks a BAW estate popped up on Smokingpipes..lo and behold it was pert near what I was wanting anyway. So I figured I'd save a few bucks and grab it before someone else did. After one smoke I can say I'm very happy with it. Quite the sweet little smoker. Mr Weaver is a true master.

Beautiful pipe, is that rim damage intentional blasting? Or neglectful rim char/emptying?

Not damage, just remnant plateau.

The rim plateau really drew me in. Reminiscent of a clay pipe and the damage it could sustain, perhaps.
