I recently found this copy of the 1919-1920 British American Tobacco annual. While not containing much (if anything) about pipes, it's an amazing insight into a prominent company at a time when many of its young men were just returning (or, sadly, not returning) from the Great War. There are some amazing snippets about cricket and football matches, diary extracts, notice of medals, and obituaries.

I think the Bulletin was used as a way for company employees all over the world to stay in touch, and many pages contain short notes from employees getting in touch with their friends and colleagues. Many express gratitude for receiving the Bulletin while at the front line in the year before, or still convalescing in hospital.

Absolutely fascinating. Thanks for sharing this.
Imagine any major company today doing something like this.
Imagine being in hospital in a foreign country, and a work 'enews' popped up on your phone. I think I'd give up the ghost there and then.

What's amazing is that they provided a cigarette fund for their staff over seas, and it seems to have been an absolute godsend to them. Many wrote in to the Bulletin to express thanks, and donate their own funds after being demobbed.
