This stuff came out a few months ago, but I have not seen a single review, even on any of the tobacco review sites. Has anybody tried it? Is it just a repackaged blend from one of the German blending houses?

I've been wondering about reviews for any of those blends, theres been no talk of it, and I know people have bought them, most of them sold out pretty quick . . .

I was wondering the same thing... Saw the add in the June edition of the NASPC circular and almost feel like I have to try these tobaccos given that I've lived most of my life in Canada. The Maritime Morning, Heritage Blend and Aurora Borealis look right up my alley(s).
I'm betting the folks at the local B&M will be working a sampler event out in the not-so-distant future. If I hear of anything Peck I'll toss you a PM.

I don't want this to come across as negative in any way - I am trying to be constructive, rather than destructive, in my comments. However, it seems to me that Brigham has done a less than stellar job of marketing these new blends. When Erik Stokkabye's new blends came out, there were a number of reviews posted and promotions announced, on this website as well as others. Not with the Brigham blends though. They are basking in their own obscurity.

It certainly does seem like a less than active marketing launch to support a brand new revenue stream. I saw the announcement, and then heard nothing but crickets.

Funny, I was just going to make a post about Mr B's Modern English (Brigham). I took a flyer on it and bought a small sample to try. I really enjoy it, cross over English that has some sweetness to it. It burns well and is perfect balance for someone trying English blends. If this is any indication of the Brigham tobaccos then I'd love to try their new line. I haven't heard anything about them either. Peck our July club meeting will be a Brigham event, the sales rep from Brigham will be coming out to the club. I'll ask her about the new line and perhaps she'll bring some samples and we can ask a bunch of questions about why they're not promoting the heck out of it. As always its an open invitation to come on out, may be the time to do it? I know its far and Oshawa aint exactly an enticing place to visit, but it may be of interest.

Roth, apparently she has connections pretty far up the chain. She knows Brian Levine and he's in charge of all Brigham sales in the US I believe. I'll pose the questions to her before the meeting and ask her to seek out the answers if she doesn't have them. Maybe then she can come to the meeting with some answers.

And Pat, yes Buster Rhinos bbq is amazing, they have a new store just around the corner from Victory. Perhaps we should go for a pint and some Q and try to talk to the manager about it, that's a great idea!

Sheesh BR and Pruss. Smoke and Q. You guys accept long distance members?
You bet Jah! Yaz keeps threatening to drive up from Jersey. We're reasonably friendly folk. You'd have a good time.

Roth I'll be firing off an email to the rep tomorrow to ask some questions and make arrangements. I'll be sure to post information I get from her.

If, as loseth said, these Brighams have sold out 'pretty quick', the level of marketing support, such as it is, is sufficient. If supply is still being worked out, less hype means less unobtainium. Maybe I'll put myself in the position of first reviewer?
