I had seen this pipe when a member on another forum posted pics of it a few months ago. Last month, he put it up on ebay. I think I pushed the magic button within about 3 nanoseconds.

Thanks, Bradley. When I bought it, I was afraid it might be a bit clunky, as free-hands often tend to be (including some of Nachwalter's), but it's light as a feather.

Harris, everything screams "flake" to you. Maybe you're just flakey. :nana:
I've actually smoked English blends in it, but I'll have to try some good VA flake in it, too. I used to favor smaller bowls for flake, but A) my nic tolerance has gone way up and B) sometimes a larger bowl works even better (as your Rad Davis collection attests).

Roth, I agree about Elliot's work (though in reality, these Stowe-era pipes were made variously by Nachwalter himself, Jim Cooke, Jorg Jamelka and others, so who knows about this one?). But yes, some of the Nachwalter/Briar Workshop pipes are just ridiculous in their proportions. Some of them are just plain ugly (imho). And the quality varies widely. This one is a good one, though -- on all counts.
