Brebbia Romanza: From the P&C website - "A selection of the best light and aromatic high-quality Virginia tobaccos. The fragrant fruity bouquet of delicately cool, aromatic brilliance guarantees superb smoking pleasure."
I'll cut to the chase - I'm disappointed.
The aroma in the tin is predominantly a heavy rum/liquor bouquet with a number of fruity components in a distinctive Virgina base. But mainly rum - to the point that you almost expect to get a head buzz from just the aroma.
Still, the aroma is promising, but IMO the promise falls apart when I smoke it. The Virginia tobaccos come through as the most prominant flavor, and the fruity essences are definitely present, but the balance of flavors falls short of my expectations. The overall result is a somewhat harsh smoke with flavors that seem to clash with each other. (Again, IMO.)
This is my first Brebbia blend, and I'll probably try others in the future, but this one just doesn't live up to what I was expecting.
