I mentioned in the current Boswell's tobacco thread that I had sampled four of their blends recently and that I enjoyed them all. But since then I've spent a lot of time with this new blend; recently named 'Piper's Pleasure'. I think I've found the perfect time of day for this one: just after lunch :)
I'm sure many of you, as do I, enjoy a smoke after a meal. Piper's Pleasure has just enough body and sweetness to make it a perfect smoke following a meal. As opposed to a fuller blend that many may prefer after dinner at night this blend is on the lighter side, but it has a beautiful blend of chocolate and vanilla that sort of combines to create a nice hint of toasted caramel. Don't get me wrong, this is not a very sweet smoke, but rather a nicely balanced blend that isn't just designed to satisfy a sweet tooth you might be having. Nice, billowing smoke all the way to the bottom of the bowl. I tend to dry it for about half an hour before packing. Burns smoothly throughout. I don't have much of an idea of the room note since I mostly smoke alone, outside; but from what I can tell as the smoker it would seem to be a very pleasant note for those around you.
This could easily be my all-day smoke, but it matches my mood and tastebuds perfectly this time of day.
Highly recommended.

I'll have to buy some Boswell tobacco. It's probable the only place I haven't tried yet.
