I've been on the search for a pleasant smelling aromatic that pleases my family as well as me, so I purchased several 1 oz samples from Boswells and have so far tried 3. To begin, I was surprised at how much the box - when first opened - smelled like a candy store. :)
I know this would turn off some, but this was actually promising for me as my wife and kids are not huge fans of tobacco smoke and I am looking to smoke indoors this winter.
So here goes my [very] subjective review...
Berry Cobbler: A bit sticky but good. Flavor was excellent, mild, burned well and was not overpowered by the berry flavor. The room note was by far the best of the bunch and the best according to my family. Smoked a little wet, but not too bad.
Christmas Cookie: A bit stickier than the Berry Cobbler. Had a strong "sugary" scent in the bag, but didn't taste too sweet. Surprisingly the room note wasn't as aromatic as I was expecting. The flavor was still nice, not overpowering. However was wetter than the cobbler and burned hotter.
Raspberry Cream: Was the stickiest of the three and also was hard to keep lit. The flavor was fine tho, but the aroma was not nearly powerful as I would have liked.
But take this all with a grain of salt. These are just my initial thoughts, my taste buds may feel differently on another day. All in all, I will be ordering from Boswell again and I am looking forward to the other blends I bought!

+1 on letting them dry for a while.
That could help with the stickiness and of course the wetness. Other than that.... The feeling of anticipation can be enjoyable as well. :3

I ordered 4oz each of Raspberry Cream, Berry Cobbler, Christmas Cookie, and the Paradise. I can't wait until they get here. I've been looking to get some good aromatics because I mostly smoke VA, VAPERs, and some light Lat blends. Hoping these will turn me on to aromatics.
Will let you guys know what I think of them on Friday when they arrive.

Yeah. Bear Blend. That's one of the few that I don't get bored with 15 Mins into the smoke. Nothing complex about it, it just stays the same for me throughout the whole bowl. I plan on ordering more soon. I hope they screw up my order and put a couple of pipes in it by accident.

Enjoy them well. My personal favorite chocolate of theirs is their No-Bite Delight, it is a complex smoke with other flavors in it like caramel and vanilla.

While I like Christmas Cookie, one of the few aros I enjoy occasionally, I like Piper's Pleasure even more.
I love Jah's idea of them screwing up the order and "accidentally" including a couple of free pipes!!!
