I found a use for my 15 cigar portable humidor.

if you quit cigars, that is the perfect alteration for the case. I thought about the same alterations to mine, but I couldn't give up the rolled leaf. :mrgreen:

I have not completely given up smoking cigars, but I just don't need a 15 cigar carrying case for them.

When I quit cigars, I made a similar alteration.
Then I took Roth's advice and converted a pistol case as I had a few lying around. A good route, though I draw the ire of our friends at TSA.

@ Allen: This is just my work case. I am only 3 weeks into this hobby. I did notice that Pelican makes much larger sizes, but now Perique has me thinking rifle case for expansion. lol

Roth, that is a nice case for the price. I will have to look into that further as my rotation grows. By the way, how many bowls a day do you guys smoke. I'm up close to ten with only five pipes to accommodate. A little worried about rest time.

This may not be the best method, but as soon as my pipe cools to room temperature I clean it thoroughly. I just don't have the stock yet to let them rest properly.

Looks like a good setup and a good use of a travel humidor. Its always nice to be able to re-use something instead of going out and having to buy something, and just think; with the money saved from using the travel humidor you can buy more tobacco.
