What are your thoughts on this? If we all post a OH YEAH! I might,

just have to plan a trip out to Italy again ~=(Venice) or perhaps the Czech Repulic (fantastic art glass blowers out there)

to strike up a deal and work with them on my design ideas for these if in great demand
I was lucky enough to watch a 50yr master in Italy/Venice some years ago do his

work around glass ovens rage'in....a wonderful site to see

Dude If you go to Italy, please take me with you. I need to go back home. But yes, glass tampers would be a cool idea. I rememnber going to Venice every weekend as a kid.

I only see one issue with a glass tamper. ok two. breaking from heat when its a cold day especially if the walls are not that thick. and dropping it could chip and break.

Venice ? That's Murano glass.. that would indeed be a cool idea. They would need to be solid though to avoid the breaking with heat when cold stuff. I've seen some solid colored ones, but one in the shaded Murano glass would indeed be sweet. Nice idea.

I remember a few guitarists buying stone guitar picks when they came out. The cost about $12 a piece back then. One of my teachers brought it to class and before he even got a note out, he dropped it on the floor and it shattered. Bummer.

Something like this ? Although I think this one may be acrylic or lucite, but having this in Murano glass would be way cool
