Anybody have any good mixtures they have created using OTCs (read: Carter Hall, Prince Albert and Half and Half)?
I have 14oz tubs of the three aforementioned tobaccos and wanted to see what other folks have done.
Cheers. t

The three blends mentioned are all fine in their own right. But, if you want a suggestion, use Sir Walter Raleigh (original non-aromatic) as a base of one-third and experiment adding other OTC's to it. You may find a taste that you like. For example, 1/3 SWR; 1/3 PA; and 1/3 H&H. Mix well and press it hard by hand in a Mason jar. Allow it to "marry" for 48 hours or so. Half of a quart jar is great plenty. But, press it as hard as you can to get the air out of it. You might like it! Let us know...

I tried blending of Captain Black, regular with light. the blend was great to me. you can also enhance the falvour (for example for vanilla blends) by allowing blend to get a little dry then spray vanilla syrup and store it in a jar for a week.

If you have Carter Hall or Granger, add an equal amount of Frogmorton to either and you get something much like Plumcake. If you like that combo, atomize some dark rum over it and jar it; then dry well. This formula does not save you any money, but in my case, does make use of the pair of 14 oz tins getting otherwise little utilization.

Thanks all for the inspiration here. Just what I was looking for.
Blend #1:
I took 3 parts of PA and sprayed it with a rum/water mixture. I let that dry overnight. Then I added part Boswell's Raspberry Cream
Blend #2:
I took a healthy amount of Carter Hall and sprayed it with the same rum/water mixture and let it dry. I was thinking about adding some latakia to it, but it is doing good on its own. Might keep it this way.
Thanks again for all this tips and I plan on trying some of them. I will let you know. Thanks.
