Many years ago I was a great fan of Blatter Reserve. Nowadays the price has become pretty much prohibitive for US purchase. Ah, for the good old days! Anybody able to find a blend that is comparable?

Haven't had it in years, but I remember thinking it was really weird, a little of this and that and a bit of topping, something like the Sillem's Black (now a John Aylesbury). Those "Canadian" style blends are usually a black cavendish, a tiny bit of latakia, and something sweet on top.

I smoked it all day, even unscrewing locks on the windows of my nonsmoking office so the boss wouldn’t catch me. Cavendish, Latakia and sweet with as good an aroma as you could get with a Latakia blend. I’ll look for some of the Sillems Black and see what else the search finds Thanks
