Today my sons gave me a vintage Elliott Nachwalter via our friend, Captainsousie.
It's a lovely sitter with an enormous bowl that refuses to heat up and was baptized tonight with Nightcap. It's a swell pipe and will soon push another favorite out of my rotation.
Truth be told, I'm blessed: I have a wonderful family I rotate around like a planet drawn to the sun, a good job that takes care of our needs, many friends - five good ones and the very best is my oldest surviving friend of over 42 years.
Life is good and so is this place. I've met some wonderful people here and learned so much. It really is a pleasure and a privilege to hang out on this forum.
