Well this year IPSD coincided with my 40th birthday, so I got some pipes. I'm mighty pleased with the haul. Hopefully it settles down the PAD for a few minutes.

From my wife, a Rattray's 2000 Years Bog Oak pot/billiard. I love the smooth finish on the morta. She loves bog oak too, so it met with her approval.

From my dad, a Moonshine morta Devil Anse, in which I happily smoked PS17 for several days in a row because that was all I had on our trip out of town.

From my mother-in-law, a very slender Ropp J05 Etudiant. Great old-fashioned lines on this thing.

From myself, after much deliberation, a Northern Briars Regal Rox Cut that I'm still just staring at. I think Ian Walker is incredible. This is the nicest pipe I own. One day maybe I'll get a Castello Sea Rock, but until then...

Oh, and a few others: an Old England (by Sasieni) Haslemere (thanks for all the wisdom, Dave!), a registration-era Stanwell Canadian (light as a feather) and two 'Crappy' (aka really lovely) Pipes from Heath Piersel.

Now if I can just get away from the cows and tractor for a few minutes, I'll set down my cob and smoke these.
