After reading on these forums that Biotine was a go-to for relief of tongue bite/sore mouth and the related....I picked some up today.
A miracle product.

It's good stuff. Saved me days of healing time when I was first learning that proper technique does not involve puffing like a steam locomotive...

Biotene is a god send for pipe smokers who get a little carried away with their puffing. I use it also just to freshen up my taste buds between bowls.

Tongue feels a little wore out after smoking almost every day for the past 4 months. I just can't bring myself to taking any time off. Picked this stuff up today and after 1 use my tongue feels slightly better. Hopefully it helps! I know I'll get a few days off once it freezes here in South Dakota... I don't mind the cold, but I will miss my nightly smoke!

I use Biotene on a regular basis. It is especially effective if you use it before a smoke.

reichenbach, I feel ya there man. i do the same thing. 'Course, I was well aqcuainted with biotene from my "whacky-tabaccy" college days so, yup. Love it!

I couldn't have made it trough the learning process without it. Hardly ever use it anymore as I've learned to savor my pipe rather than attack it! Lol. But always good to have some on hand for those days when we get carried away with the hottest new blend.

Biotene what? They make two kinds of mouthwash, an oral spray, drinking water additive, 2 kinds of toothpaste, gum and a sandwich spread.
