For you more experienced restorers, is there a preferred micro mesh brand or type? I'm disappointed in the short life of the ones I purchased from Peachtree Woodworking. I've sanded two stems and one stummel, and they're worn out.

Did you try washing them? The ones I use are wet/dry, so when they get clogged, water will usually clean them off. Nothing lasts forever though.

@ LikeDad...They haven't failed more so that they are clogged. I use a small spray water bottle and spritz the pads on the micro mesh.
