hard to say.
Any of the new ones will be filter pipes, and will give you one hell of a draw without a filter in it.

there are two adjustomatics for about the same price as a new filter Grabow. Some basic cleaning, and about as good a smoke as you can get out of a Grabow.

I've owned a few Grabows over the years. Of them all the Omega was my least favorite, always seemed to clog up mid bowl. I've had the best luck with Dukes and Viscounts. A buddy of mine got a Freehand that was really nice.

I have a Dr. G. Freehand and I like it. Bigger bowl than I need, smokes like a champ.,not expensive and the stem will not oxidize. Low maintenance pipe you can count on? Yes it is. Is it top shelf, as in fancy? No, no it is not. Yet it is #2 pipe in my rotation so I like it fine.
What I do like about it is it has the military bit. So you can take the stem out when the pipe is still warm. I have to say I kind of like the filters. I smoke aromatics so? Heck it kind of soaks up any moisture, then you toss it out after a few bowls. It is fine with out filters but you just ease off the puff a little.

I have a bent Savoy that always treats me well. the only complaint is it seems a little heavy but not a jaw breaker

I vote fore the bent Omega. I got one in a lot I found in an antique store for dirt cheap. I think it is one of my easiest pipes to smoke with. I like the bit end of the stem too, it has an extra lip on it that makes it easy holding it in your mouth without having to chomp down on it.
Also, you can't beat the military mount. I bring it to work and use it on the work bench and never have any problems. I have many other Grabows and can't say I dislike them, I just don't like them as much as I do the Omega. I have been looking for others but have had a hard time finding them without having to pay shipping. lol Find it hard to pay $10 shipping on a $20 pipe.

I have 4 Freehands and two Omegas and all of them smoke really nice. The Omegas make a great flake pipe, just fold and stuff. The Freehands, as mentioned by Buster, have a nice large bowl and have a very free draw without the filter. My Freehands are my best English pipes, and I like to smoke a good Burley in one occasionally.

Of the newer DG pipes I have the two I like best is a Golden Duke pot and a Special 11 billiard. The Special 11 is available only from the factory and they may be all gone by now.I also like any of the bent bulldogs. For a larger pipe you check out the "Big Pipe" if you can find one.
