Nope, real bone. I will take more photos this weekend I feel really lousy and my dog has now taken up residence on my photo studio, i.e. my bed!

What's funny is Paulo made it for the guy I got it from who felt it was too fragile to smoke much, looking at it he did not smoke it much and it barely has a cake. I have a reed stemmed cob with a bone bit, now if that isn't fragile as old and dry as it is nothing will be, I won't make this a daily smoker by any stretch but I'm not babying it!

Here are my two most recent becker acquisitions - the first is rusticated and the second is a blast.

Those are outstanding examples of the Becker hand Peck, I have nothing but the utmost respect for what Fritz did and what Paulo continues to do, very under rated pipes IMHO!

I have three. The above two and a strawberry wood 4 clubs poker. I absolutely love the man's pipes.

I have 3 by Fritz, this one by Paulo and a Morta by Paulo and the next one will be a Strawberry which will give me 6 different colors in all as the bowl on this is distinctive. The 3 by Fritz are all different, one like yours in the darker finish rusticated, one with a reddish dark finish rusticated and a rather scarce Vergin and nothing compares with the Paulo Morta look.

Fish I have one Fritz, just bought a Fritz Dublin Rusticated from Linder , when I get it I will post a pic, Pappas pipe smoke a tad better for me.

Wow, those are very nice, fish. Many thanks for posting those.
The horn stem has a really nice variation in color. The chamber looks fairly pot-like -- what do you usually smoke in it?

Just came today and had my first bowl with Kajun Kake, will probably keep it for flakes, medallions etc, i.e. Vapers and VA's. It smoked clean a bit more taste but not as high as a Morta. Love the size and it hangs perfectly in the mouth.

fish, great looking pipe. I have hear nothing but great things about Becker's, will have to add one one day.
peck, great looking pipes, I think I was eyeballing the second one you posted when it was on ebay. If memory serves it went for a great price for a Becker.

Likewise, peck, I really like the first one (rusticated). I didn't bid (too many recent purchases plus a commissioned pipe), but I believe it went for a very good price. Lovely pipes, thanks for sharing the pics.
