ITS ALIVE ...ITS ALIVE -in the old movie - I FRANKENSTEIN - professor Frankenstein, the father of the one who created the monster, - appears with a beautiful pipe in his hand - long shank maybe a foot long with a beautiful with a swivel topped bowl to close over the open bowl - someone who knows how can search out the movie then post an image of the professor with the pipe.

they dont make them pipes like that anymore!

This was a rabbit hole. I had fun trying, but no success on finding an online image.
But I did find this awesome picture of the OG Frankenstein, Boris Karloff, smoking a pipe.

Looks like a German/Austrian/Tyrolean jägerpfeife aka gesteckpfeife and other names as well. These can be easily found on German Ebay. Some are functional smoking pipes others are tourist souvenirs or wall ornaments. Some are very old and some are more recent.

I don't have a pipe like that, but I have a similar cap. I seldom wear it because the tassel bothers my ear.
