Every so often I like to clean the built up carbon off my Beattie lighter. In my opinion it works much better when cleaned of carbon buildup.

What do you use to clean off the carbon?

Combo of 0000 steel wool, used 3M Scotch-Brite, buff with White Diamond. You have to disassemble the top but it’s just 2 screws…

Good job! I usually just need a little lighter fluid and a Qtip and the little wire “unclogger” - but mine doesn’t get enough use to get really gummed up or dirty.

Looks real sharp. I've been interested in picking up a Beattie but just haven't found one that I liked the look of.
