I wonder, if someone can inform me, if BBB has made a Christmas pipe in 1943? I have a BBB Christmas pipe, but I cannot see the year on it. I have a picture of it, but it seems, that I cannot upload it here.
Thanks

I believe "Christmas Pipes" was a trend started in the 1980's. I'm no BBB expert but don't recall reading about Christmas pipes that old. Hackers "Rare Smoke" book has a section on Christmas pipes, I'll have to scan thru it (although we've learned not all of his info is factual).

Thanks a lot, but the BBB Christmas Pipe trend is much older than 1980's as I got my first one in 1962. Sad that I cannot attach a picture of the old one, which I have.

I checked my copy of "Rare Smoke" by Richard Carleton Hacker. He opens his chapter on Christmas pipes saying "BBB Christmas pipe have been available for over three decades". The book was written in 1999. Unfortunately, as I mentioned, over the years since it was published, many mistakes have been reported/discovered in this book. He also wrote a book called "The Christmas Pipe" but it was released in very small quantities and is pretty rare.
I'd love to see this pipe, can you post some pictures?
