After dinner tonight, me and my Corgi went outside and it was a beautiful evening. Not near as hot as yesterday with the humidity about 25% and 82 degrees with a slight breeze. I decided to try some C&D Bayou Nights in my relatively new Winslow and inhaled a bit after awhile...mistake. It nearly knocked my lungs out and I'm a seasoned cigarette smoker-never again! Great tasting baccy but don't inhale much.

I hear you, man. Not sure where you're at, but here in Tennessee it's perfect weather especially after the daunting 98 yesterday.

Yep, I'm in east TN myself and it was 180 degrees difference today over yesterday. I almost wore my Members Only jacket this morning...love it.

It is good to see another East Tennessean on the forum. My girlfriend and I are moving to Knoxville in about a month. She got a teaching job in Strawberry Plains and I just graduated college and am looking for a job.

That's great. I moved to TN from NC back in 1974 and never left...love the mountains and it sure beats the flat lands of Charlotte. I don't even know that place anymore and grew up there. I may as well be in Tasmania. I'm glad I got college over decades ago. It's like basic training was in some respects and wouldn't want to go through either again.

Ha ha, I understand. I'm originally from Michigan and it's very flat there. As for college, I can't wait to be in the professional world. Hopefully soon I will find something.

photoman-Plenty of time for the professional world. Once in there's no turning back! By virtue of your screen name I take it you're into photography? I did photography on a semi-pro level some years back in that it wasn't my only source of income. Weddings, family reunions, portraits mostly. This was all before the advent of digital photography and there were no second chances if you scewed up. I did two Catholic weddings once and they both wore me out. I thought I had got locked in the Twilight Zone and was never going home again! I started shooting at 5:30 and didn't get home till 11:30 that night.

I never did nature photography much, primarily people and animals. The air around here is mostly superb but there are times we get an air quality alert-especially in the summer months. Beautiful mountains and lakes, however.
I'm not going to pass up a chance to show off my Pembroke Welsh Corgi who is the light of my life.
