The tin describes the blend -
"Tradition. Latakia from Cyprus and Syria, spiced with strong Kentucky and rounded off with little, broad cut Virginia. Full and strong in taste. Traditional English. Made in Germany by Planta Tabak Berlin."
It doesn't taste like any of the Dunhills I've tried: Nightcap, Durbar, 965, London Mixture, nor of course Royal Yacht. It's not harsh. Not spiky. Seems to have a wider bottom end to the experience. What came to mind is a truncated cone. It tastes smokey, as I understand Latakia should give it. I'm trying it in my large Radice Billiard that's only had 965 in it.
What's your opinion on this tobacco?

Haven't smoked it but would like to, given your description. Where did you buy it? English friendly?

I got it at smokingpipes -

Now I'm wishing I'd gotten more than one tin. They've been out of stock since soon after I got it. I haven't tried the Garnet Medium, Barling's other blend.
