After a 3 year hiatus from pipe smoking I'm seriously into it again. Cigars got in the way & couldn't afford both. Question: I've always loved English/Balkan blends, but I don't want to get burned-out on them. I don't think I will, but I just do not want to over do it. Can this happen? I am loving, loving every puff and do not want to stop and give up that wonderful, intoxicating scent/taste. I just ordered more and am looking forward to them too. Help me. Tell me I want get burned-out on English blends. I'm going to try and branch out to other varieties of leaf and am looking forward to that too... Maybe I'm just sounding off here. I'll be fine. Just a little knowledge from you folks would be very helpful right now.

Best, LeRoy

You might or you might not, imposible to walk in someone else's shoes. Try it and see for yourself, and please report back. May the cool smoke be with you!

Look into some of the blends that use a milder dose of the latakia.

I've had and enjoyed a number of lat bombs. I'd probably burn out if I smoked them frequently.

Black Frigate and Skiff Mixture come to mind, but there are a hundred more possibilities.

Presbyterian Mixture is often mentioned but I've not yet tried it. Same with Mac Baren Plum Cake.

Eat a bucket of ice cream every day and you will get sick of that too.
Balance.
Only smoke Latakia blends 50% of the time and I doubt you'll ever stop.
