Bad tasting pipe?

I have a new Dr.Grabow Omega. Ive only smoked a few bowls out of it. Nothing tastes right out of this pipe! I put Autumn Evening in it yesterday and man I just couldn't get the flavor through in this pipe. It seems everything tastes the same when smoking this pipe.
At most I may have 7 bowls through this pipe. Could it be that it just needs broken in? Even after hanging in the rack a cple of days it smells like an ashtray.

That's a factory pre-smoked pipe, right? Hard to understand, and even harder to make a suggestion.

Maybe it just needs more smoking. I hope it's just a break-in problem. :puffpipe:

I hope so too. I really like the looks and feel of this pipe. I had bought one earlier last year and it smoked great. But i gave that one to my father in hopes he would be a pipe smoking buddy lol.
But yeah i do hope its just a break in thing.

Just take your alchol or choise and swab the bowl. I use Rom or sometimes whiskey. Should take away that funky taste
