I decided to finish up my Corn Cob group next. Here is a Country Gentleman with a bent amber colored stem, I don't know why the amber colored stems get such a kink in them from being bent since the black ones have a nice smooth bend but I'm thankful my Rinnai Tankless Hot Water Heater puts out 140f hot water since 45 seconds under the hot water, bend a little then repeat and it's good to go. This is only the third smoke and it Orlik Golden Sliced keeping it smokey, gee what a surprise! ;)

That bowl was born in a year with good big cobs. Some years everything comes up Group 1.

mso489, years ago I'd buy two cobs at a time and put them away in a dark, cool spot where the temperatures never varied much the one two years went by I'd take one out and smoke it slow and steady, let it cool and air out for three days and grab the other I bought and go through the same process. I found this works well then if I wanted more cobs I'd buy two more and repeat.

I deviated from this practice when the Twain and Reverse Calabash by MM and Riccardo Santia were introduced and everything went fine, I think the shape of the Twain is perfect and have not had one break in badly nor did the RC pipes. I just like cobs especially on hot days. Cheers.
