Back to smoking a pipe again in my old age (6 months), Gosh, what a difference in the vast range of tobaccos available, No internet in the 70s when I had a pipe ( a Falcon) and here in the UK the tobacco range was limited, more a case of smoke what you can find that suited, Now it’s amazing just what’s available, Stumbled across my old briar, a tin of Peterson Sherlock Holmes and was hooked again, found this amazing site and spent some time “lurking”, What a wealth of knowledgeable people, Really glad to have joined. Take care and stay safe guys during this awful epidemic.

How wise of you to keep and keep track of your pipe, which is so much better than trying to start anew with a pipe that might or might not suit you. I go back to the 70's with pipe smoking, and I was no kid then myself, but I just recently bought a Falcon and am enjoying it.
Do you have any old tins of Balkan Sobranie? You could sell them for $200 each. Old Dunhill tins? They sell for $80 each. There may be a lot of new tobacco blends, but people pay big money for vintage tobacco.
