It's certainly not a consideration in my selection of what to smoke. I smoke for my benefit, not for others. If folks want to hang around they'll have tolerate the reek of Latakia. At least for a few more year.

I'm with Warren on this. However, I always get compliments when I smoke Rattray's Bagpiper's Dream. I think it's a wonderful blend and one of only 2 aros I smoke.

Captain Black white, whenever I smoke it, which is quite rare, due to an almost complete lack of flavor, but I digress, I am constantly complemented that I smell like someone's father or grandfather used to smell.

I get a lot of burn and sting from aromatics so I'm not attracted to them much anymore. Non-aros that are full strength like CD Big n' Burley don't give me that problem, so the men's cologne aspect hardly matters. I'll just get that from a bottle my wife gives me at Christmas. However, some good smelling aros from Altadis are Casanova, named for its attractive scent for women, and the somewhat similar Queen Anne's Revenge, both smell real good. If I recall, they are Va/bur/Cav; QAR has rum.

jpmcwjr I agree. To me how tobacco smells in the container or room note as opposed to what it smells like on clothes, cars, someones hair, is totally different. Smoked tobacco tends to leave a stale smell over time to me.

I put a few small pinches in a leather medicine bag & place it in the console of my truck. Not overpowering but produces a nice fresh aroma. After a while if I notice the aroma going away I replace the tobacco in the bag.

Any chance tobacco kills or repells moths? I like the tobacco room or car freshener. Fresh ground coffee works well too. To renew the tobacco, you might start with thick cut or flake and rub it out several times to break new pieces and revive the scent.
