The only way to control that heat is to eat more.

Slice them in half long ways, remove the pit, sprinkle with a little salt and grab a spoon. DELIGHTFUL!

I always either cut them in half and eat the halves raw, or I put hot salt on the flash, mash it up, and put it on a sandwich! Nothing special here!
