Auto & RV Battery Maintenance

I'm going to mothball my pickup and camper for the winter and am looking for a battery tender for both for the truck battery and the deep cycle RV battery. Any suggestions on what to use, specifically how many amps do I really need?

I'll leave it plugged in all winter, maybe alternate one tender between the two batteries. Thanks!

Don’t use shitty extension cords if you need the distance don’t cheap out, get heavy duty ones.

I have three of these, one for a two battery diesel truck, one for a motorcycle and one for a lawn mower, they work great and really do extend battery life. I leave them plugged in all winter. Mine are 1.25 amp units and work fine for maintenance and storage.

Check and see if your deep cycle battery is an AGM beforehand. If so, get a charger that has AGM setting as well.
