I really would like a LOTR inspired churchwarden pipe for my office. Particularly gandalf. I was looking at the Macqueen gray pilgrim, but some posts here suggest the quality isn't great. Many seem to like the Auenland line, and the eron would by my choice, but I can't seem to find in the USA. Anyone know of where I can obtain one? Ebay seems to have one for $200, but knockoffs seem to be popular on eBay so I'm hesitant. Also if there are other makers that have a similar pipe of a good quality please let me know.

Here you go. And it's on sale for 15% off.

Thanks! Now I gotta try and stomach spending that much. : )

Just playing a little devil's advocate here but have you considered a Savinelli Qandale?

They're not as long but I like their looks better.

I just bought an original Vauen Gandalf recently. Shipped from New Zealand thanks to @Ahi Ka.

The Arm of Orion
I hadn’t heard of the Almar before. It’s gorgeous. Is it a new shape? (I believe someone mentioned above that they are releasing new shapes.)
I hadn't heard of it either till the "it's finally time to get myself a Vauen Auenland 'warden" bit me last week.

I didn't care much for it initially, I was wanting the Eron, but upon checking chamber dimensions the Eron's struck me as too large—ditto the Hugg; I was thinking of the Clodo, but eventually the freehandedness of the Almar spoke to me.

Here're the current offerings in the series:

I want to get one as a regular smoker. The Gandalf will be more of a special occasion pipe, and something to connect me with that period in the early 2000s when the movies were being released; a really special time in my life.

I like the Hugg, and that’s the one I wanted, but now I may have to go with the Almar (or both).

That’s the cheapest you’re going to find one. Don’t delay!

The auenland series is great, especially if you’re looking for nostalgia. The strangeness of the round bit reminds you that it’s no regular, 21st century pipe.

This works against using it as an everyday pipe, but helps if you want to be transported to a simpler time, when elves were elves and hobbits were hobbits.

Welcome to the Auenland!

I don't mind the round bit, I think I like it more than the regular, flat bit. It's like sipping from a straw. Then again, I'm not a clencher.
