A week ago, I won two lots at an auction, which netted me two Caminetto Business pipes and one Lorenzo Titano.
The first surprise was the absurd enormity of the Lorenzo Titano. I'm 6'2" tall and have relatively large hands (yes, much larger than POTUS's). When I grip around the bowl with my thumb and middle finger, they just barely touch. While the chamber is deep, it's not THAT huge in diameter. It's that the walls of the bowl are incredibly thick. It seems nicely made and I'm going to bet it smokes well. We'll see. My last Briar, Bourbon, Beer, and Brats party, I smoked an OomPaul Monstrosity. I think this one will make an appearance at my next event. For a size comparison, I put it next to my "normal size" restored Uhle's panel billiard.

In the other lot was a smaller dark bent Caminetto Business with what I now see is a dark purple variegated acrylic stem, complete with a gold mustache logo. The other pipe was a light-colored Caminetto bent with an army mount vulcanite stem with a twisted section and a crown above a "PH". Preben Holm? These pipes came from an estate with a number of higher end pipes. Savinelli Autographs, Caminetto, Ascorti, better Petersons, and so forth. I wonder if someone else has a Preben Holm pipe with a mustache! The Preben Holm stem fits just fine, but I cannot imagine it's the original. Can't be.

Definitely, the big guy is a pipe that deserves an audience. Not a clencher, but should be a long slow smoke once you have it lit.
