This one is for Sailorjeremy, our resident USN corpsman who spends many a day tending Marines. In turn, they treat him like he walks on water.
I'm proud to call you a friend, Jeremy.

Thank you Jeremy, Fnord, (and Fnord's son in OTC) for your military service. Thanks to you guys, I am able to live in relative peace, ease and comfort here. May you all come home safe and sound.

Thanks a ton everyone! Sorry I haven't been as active the past month. I got back from "Japanistan" late August and have been busy spending some much needed time with the wife and dog since then. I really appreciate all the support and generosity that you've shown me throughout my time here. I've met a lot of great people and learned more than I could ever have imagined. I'm proud to call myself a member of this group and I look forward to continue serving as your resident Devil Doc!

The corpsman was our medical staff on our very small minesweeper. Mostly, they stitch you up if you need

it, or give you pain meds until you can be moved to where you can see a physician, but in a situation, they

can do more, as necessary. I went to boot camp with a man who'd been in training for the priesthood, but

had some crises of faith, so was sent by his senior priest to serve as a corpsman.
